Analysis
This resolution grants a special privilege to Amanda Lowney to construct and maintain one wood platform with steps, one set of wood steps and one set of concrete steps, in the public right-of-way for the premises 633-35 East Locust Avenue.
Body
Whereas, The applicant is requesting permission to construct and maintain three sets of steps with platforms and handrails in the public right-of-way; and

Whereas, Said items may only legally encroach into the public right-of-way by granting of a special privilege resolution adopted by the Common Council; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that Amanda Lowney, 635A East Locust Street, Milwaukee, WI 53212 is hereby granted the following special privileges:

1. To construct and maintain a 4-foot wide wood platform with steps and handrails in the west, 16-foot wide sidewalk area of North Pierce Street. Said structure commences at a point approximately 35 feet south of the southline of East Locust Street and extends south 12 feet. Said platform is 3 feet tall.

2. To construct and maintain a set of wood steps which project 4 feet into the west, 16-foot wide sidewalk area of North Pierce Street and 3 feet into the south, 12-foot wide sidewalk area of East Locust Street. The approximate area of the steps in the public right-of-way is 16.5 square feet.

3. To construct and maintain a concrete set of steps with wood handrail projecting 3 feet 3 inches into the south, 12-foot wide sidewalk area of East Locust Street. Said 4-foot, 3-inch wide steps are centered approximately 20 feet west of the westline of North Pierce Street.
