Resolution directing the Commissioner of Public Works to execute a document titled “1st Revision State/Municipal Agreement for a State-Let Highway Project” with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation for the programming, design, real estate acquisition, and construction of West Fond du Lac Avenue from North 19th Street to North 12th Street, to set up funds for design engineering at an estimated total cost of $524,100 with an estimated City share of $131,024 and a grantor share of $393,076, and to set up funds for real estate acquisition at an estimated cost of $100,000 with an estimated City share of $0 and a grantor share of $100,000.
Analysis
This resolution directs the Commissioner of Public Works to execute a State/Municipal Agreement with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation for the programming, design, real estate acquisition, and construction of West Fond du Lac Avenue (STH 145) from North 19th Street to North 12th Street. The State/Municipal Agreement provides for 75 percent Federal and State aid and 25 percent local cost sharing for preliminary engineering and for 100 percent Federal and State aid for real estate acquisition. The revised total estimated cost of this project is $12,338,600 with an estimated City share of $1,061,800 and a grantor share of $11,276,800. This resolution also directs the City Comptroller to transfer additional funds for preliminary engineering at an estimated cost of $524,100 with an estimated City share of $131,024 and a grantor share of $393,076; and to transfer funds for real estate acquisition at an estimated cost of $100,000 with an estimated City share of $0 and a grantor share of $100,000. Construction funds for this project will be included in future resolutions.
