Title
Substitute resolution to execute an Emergency Medical Services Agreement for paramedic services with Milwaukee County.
Analysis
This resolution approves a two-year paramedic service agreement between the City of Milwaukee and County of Milwaukee.
Body
Whereas, The City of Milwaukee and County of Milwaukee entered into a contract for paramedic services on August 25, 1977; and
Whereas, The current contract between the City of Milwaukee and County of Milwaukee expired on December 31, 2003; and
Whereas, The parties want to enter into an agreement for a term of 24 months, from January 1, 2004 to December 31, 2005; and
Whereas, The new contract amends the terms from the previous agreement; now, therefore be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the paramedic contract between the City of Milwaukee and County of Milwaukee, a copy of which is attached to this file, is approved and the proper City officers are authorized and directed to execute the same on behalf of the City.
