Analysis
This ordinance requires payment of a $75 preinspection fee prior to the health department's inspection of a new tattooing or body-piercing establishment. As the Wisconsin department of health and family services' agent for licensing and regulating tattooing and body-piercing establishments, the health department is authorized by the Wisconsin Administrative Code to charge this fee.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 60-83.5-4 to 7 of the code is renumbered 60-83.5-5 to 8.
Part 2. Section 60-83.5-4 of the code is created to read:
60-83.5. Tattooing and Body-Piercing Establishments.
4. PREINSPECTION FEE. For inspection of a new tattooing or body-piercing establishment, a preinspection fee of $75 shall be charged.
