Title
Substitute ordinance to further amend the 2002 rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service under control of the Common Council.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 3 of ordinance File Number 010467 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay period 1, 2002 - December 23, 2001):
Amend Common Council File Number 011007, passed by the Common Council on January 22, 2002 by deleting the amendment that reads, "Delete Pay Ranges 258, 264 and 746 in their entirety" and substitute the following: "Under Pay Range 258, delete the title "Special Equipment Operator 1/2/3/" and delete footnotes 1/, 2/ and 3/."
Delete Pay Range 264 in its entirety.
Part 2. Section 16 of ordinance File Number 010467 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay period 1, 2002 - December 23, 2001):
Delete Pay Range 746 in its entirety.
Part 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Part 4. The provisions of this ordinance are deemed to have been in force and effect from and after Pay Period 1, 2002 (December 23, 2001).
Part 5. This ordinance will take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
