Analysis
This resolution will permit the Redevelopment Authority to convey said properties according to the conditions in the Land Disposition Report.
Body
Whereas, On April 19, 2001, the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Milwaukee ("Authority") held a Public Hearing on the proposed sales as required by Wisconsin Statutes; and
 
Whereas, Pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes and as a condition precedent to the sale, lease or transfer of land, the Authority submits herewith a Land Disposition Report describing the terms and conditions of the proposed sales; now, therefore, be it
 
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the Land Disposition Report dated April 19, 2001, with respect to the proposed sale of the following described parcels is approved:
 
PROJECT
 
Blight Elimination Effort/Concordia Historic District
 
REDEVELOPERS AND PARCEL ADDRESSES
 
Janet L. and Lare J. Schlee - 2700 West State Street
 
West End Development Corporation - 2743 West State Street
 
; and, be it
 
Further Resolved, That if either of the named Redevelopers fail to exercise their Options to Purchase, the Authority may accept another offer on a first-come basis without further action by the Authority or the Common Council provided that the buyer rehabilitate the dwellings in conformance with the Authority's minimum rehabilitation standards and has provided the Authority with acceptable plans and a prequalification letter from a financial institution.
