Resolution directing the Commissioner of Public Works to enter into a contract with Bank One for clearinghouse services for automatic withdrawal of water and sewer bill payments.

BODY:

Whereas, Customer demand has been demonstrated for automatic withdrawal of water and sewer bill payments and it is the desire of the City through its Department of Public Works - Water Works to satisfy this customer demand; and

Whereas, This customer service can be efficiently provided at a minimal cost through the Wisconsin Automated Clearinghouse Association; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Commissioner of Public Works is authorized and directed to execute an agreement with Bank One to provide automatic clearinghouse services for water and sewer bill payments.
