Analysis
This charter ordinance makes a technical correction to common council file number 901683, a charter ordinance relating to pension benefits for certain employes represented by collective bargaining agreements, passed on March 5, 1991, to conform it to the labor agreement between the city of Milwaukee and the Milwaukee Police Supervisors' Organization, and administrative practice.

Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

Part 1.  Parts 3 and 4 of common council file number 901683, a charter ordinance relating to pension benefits for certain employes represented by collective agreements, passed on March 5, 1991, shall apply to policemen in the bargaining unit covered by the Milwaukee Police Supervisors' Organization and non-represented policemen if they retire on a service retirement allowance between January 1, 1991, and January 1, 1993.

Part 2.  This is a charter ordinance and shall take effect 60 days after its passage and publication, unless within such 60 days a referendum petition is filed as provided in s. 66.01(5), Wis. Stats., in which event this ordinance shall not take effect until submitted to a referendum and approved by a majority of the electors voting thereon.
