Analysis
This ordinance amends code provisions relating to publicly accessible collection bins by authorizing the commissioner of neighborhood services to:
1. Issue orders to correct bin violations to the property owner upon which a publicly accessible collection bin is located.
2. Charge reinspection fees for bin violations.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 239-13-8 of the code is amended to read:
239-13. Publicly Accessible Collection Bins.
8. ENFORCEMENT. The commissioner of neighborhood services shall be responsible for this section. >>The commissioner may issue orders to correct conditions for violations of this section to the property owner upon which the collection bin is located. The commissioner may charge reinspection fees for violations of this section pursuant to s. 200-33.<<
