Title
Substitute ordinance relating to the change in zoning from Two-Family Residential (RT4) to Two-Family Residential (RT2) on land located on the South Side of East Ontario Street and North of South Superior Street, in the 14th Aldermanic District.
Analysis
This substitute ordinance changes the zoning for multiple existing single-family homes and duplexes to a district that typically has larger setbacks and smaller lot coverage. This ordinance was initiated by the Department of City Development.
Body
Resolved, That the Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, do ordain as follows:
 
Part 1. There is added to the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances a new section to read as follows:
 
Section 295-501.2(b).0002. The zoning map is amended to change the zoning for the area bounded and described by the zoning line within the right-of-way of East Ontario Street, the south line of South Shore Park, the zoning line within the right-of-way of East Iron Street and a line 157.50 feet West and parallel to the west line of South Shore Drive and a line 80 feet South and parallel to the south line of East Iron Street, the zoning line within the right-of-way of South Shore Drive, a line 160 feet South and parallel to the south line of East Iron Street, the south line of South Shore Park, the zoning line within the right-of-way of East Nock Street, the zoning line within the right-of-way of East Estes Street, the zoning line within the right-of-way of South Shore Drive and a line 157.50 feet West and parallel to the west line of South Shore Drive, from Two-Family Residential (RT4) to Two-Family Residential (RT2).
