This resolution directs the proper city officers to execute sewer and water easement releases, SER-1663 and WER-186 located in Parcel 1 of Certified Survey Map No. 6922 and the South 79 feet of Parcel 4 of Certified Survey Map No. 6921, Parcel 4 of Certified Survey Map No. 6921 Excluding the South 79 feet, and Parcel 1 of Certified Survey Map No. 5644, having Tax Key numbers 361-1961-100, 361-1954-100 and 361-1881-100-8.

Whereas, On May 28, 1968, the City of Milwaukee was granted sewer easement SE-1663 and water easement WE-186 by Jos. Schlitz Brewing Company for access and maintenance of the 60 inch combined sewer, 72 inch combined sewer, 6 inch water main and 12 inch water main located in the former West Galena Street right of way; and
Whereas, Brewery Works, Inc. granted new sewer easements SE-2844 and SE-2755, and water easement WE-877 for access and maintenance of the 72 inch combined sewer, 60 inch combined sewer, 6 inch water main and 12 inch water main located in the former West Galena Street right of way; and
Whereas, Said sewer easement SE-1663 and water easement WE-186 no longer serves the interest of the City of Milwaukee and should be released; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the proper city officers, including the DPW Commissioner, are hereby authorized: (i) to accept Sewer Easement Release, SER-1663 and Water Easement Release, WER-186, in the form and substance submitted to this file (or in substantially the same form and substance as submitted, and to effectuate the intent of this resolution); and (ii) to sign the easement release and cause the same to be recorded in the Milwaukee County Register of Deeds Office.
