This ordinance authorizes the department of building inspection to delegate to the health department authority to enforce all or portions of building code provisions relating to the advertising of tobacco products.

BODY:

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

Part 1. Section 244-20-4 of the code is created to read:

244-20. Advertising of Tobacco Products.

4. ENFORCEMENT PROVISION. The department of building inspection may delegate limited authority to the health department to enforce all or portions of this section.
