Substitute resolution relative to various legislative bills.
BODY:
Whereas, The Judiciary and Legislation Committee of the Common Council has recommended the following positions on the bills hereinafter listed and the Common Council being advised of said matters; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that it hereby approves the following legislative bills and instructs the Division of Intergovernmental Relations to appear before the proper committees to support such bills and use its best endeavors to have the same enacted into law, viz:
18-S, relating to Property Tax Exemption; Health and Fitness Centers.
64-A, relating to Tenant's Eviction. (SUPPORT WITH AMENDMENT)
73-S, relating to Property Tax Exemption; Bomb Shelters.
74-S, relating to Property Tax Exemption; Educational and Religious Organizations.
290-A, relating to Property Tax Exemption; Health and Fitness Centers. CITY BILL
313-A, relating to Civil Service; Persons with Disabilities CITY BILL
314-A, relating to Promotional Exams. CITY BILL
351-A, relating to Felony Offenses; Sentences.
451-A, relating to Sex Offenders.
478-A, relating to Foreclosure; Tax Deeded Land. CITY BILL
486-A, relating to Municipal Lockups.
487-A, relating to Drunk Driving; Sale of Seized Vehicle.
496-A, relating to Driving Under the Influence.
505-A, relating to Sex Offenders.

Further Resolved, That the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee is opposed to the following legislative bill and hereby instructs the Division of Intergovernmental Relations to appear before the proper committees in opposition to said bill and use its best endeavors in opposition to the same viz: .

514-A, relating to Wild Animals.
533-A, relating to Formerly Utility Property; Shared Revenue.
