Analysis
This resolution will authorize the Commissioner of Public Works to execute a funding agreement with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WISDOT) to implement street lighting improvements on West Forest Home Avenue (STH 24), from South 31st Street to South 27th Street, and on South 27th Street (USH 41), from the bridge over the Union Pacific Railroad to West Lincoln Avenue using Federal/State Aid under the Surface Transportation Program. The resolution also directs the City's Comptroller to create the necessary accounts and transfer funds for construction of this project.

Whereas, The Common Council has previously approved execution of a project agreement with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation to undertake paving of West Forest Home Avenue (STH 24), from South 31st Street to South 27th Street, and on South 27th Street (USH 41), from the bridge over the Union Pacific Railroad to West Lincoln Avenue under Common Council File Number 031419; and

Whereas, Improvements to the street lighting within the project limits are eligible for funding under the Surface Transportation Program; and

Whereas, WISDOT has indicated that funding assistance for 100% of the estimated cost is available; now, therefore, be it
