This resolution authorizes the proper City officials to execute and deliver a Quit Claim Deed for said property to the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee for subsequent conveyance through its home ownership program.
BODY:
Whereas, The Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee ("Housing Authority") leased 3249 North 12th Street on April 16, 1971, from the City of Milwaukee to construct a Scattered Site housing unit; and
Whereas, The Housing Authority has implemented an affordable home ownership program and desires to sell said unit to the current resident who has qualified for participation in that program; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the Department of City Development is authorized and directed to prepare a Quit Claim Deed for 3249 North 12th Street and transfer said property to the Housing Authority for no monetary consideration; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the proper City officials are authorized and directed to execute said Quit Claim Deed on behalf of the City of Milwaukee.
