This ordinance increases the ambulance conveyance rate that ambulance services providers may charge under the city-wide emergency medical service system, from $222.50 to $231.50. The mileage rate per conveyance remains unchanged, $6.49 per mile.
BODY:
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part. 1 Section 75-15-14-c of the code is amended to read:
75-15. Ambulance Certification Regulations.
14. AMBULANCE RATES.
c. A rate of [[$222.50]] >>$231.50<< shall be charged for conveyance plus a charge of $6.49 per mile, mileage to be defined as the distance traveled with the patient in the ambulance from the point of patient origin to destination.
