Resolution determining it necessary to make various nonassessable public improvements at various locations and appropriating funds for these purposes with the City engineering cost estimated to be $126,000 for a total estimated cost of these projects being $1,217,000.
Analysis
This resolution authorizes engineering studies on projects which by City Charter are nonassessable. After design plans and estimates of costs have been prepared, a resolution authorizing construction will be submitted to the Common Council. The City cost for engineering these projects is estimated to be $126,000 with the total cost estimated to be $1,217,000.

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that it is necessary and in the public interest to do the following described improvements according to City specifications:
12th Aldermanic District
W. Becher St. Interchange (SM499240030) Installing bioswales. (Nonassessable Water Quality Fund -- $20,000). The total estimated cost of this project is $300,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2025 construction season.
W. Lapham Blvd. - S. 1st St. to S. 16th St. (SM499230011) File Number 230577: Installing bioswales. (Nonassessable Water Quality Fund -- $75,000 additional funding). The total estimated cost of this project including the requested amount is $500,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2025 construction season.
13th Aldermanic District
Area Bounded By - S. 6th St. to S. 24th St. and W. Waterford Ave. to W. Ramsey Ave. (SM495240028) Sewer exams. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund --$31,000). The total estimated cost of this project including the requested amount is $417,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2024 construction season.
