Resolution relating to increasing the reimbursable expenditure authority for the Department of Public Works, Department of Administration, Department of City Development, and the Health Department in the Reimbursable Services Advance Fund.
Analysis
Body
Whereas, the Department of Public Works - Infrastructure, Department of Administration, Department of City Development, and the Health Department use the Reimbursable Services Advance Fund to expense both internal and external reimbursable services; and

Whereas, utilization of the Reimbursable Services Advance Fund by the Department of Public Works - Infrastructure, Department of Administration, Department of City Development, and the Health Department was underestimated in 2026 requiring additional reimbursable authority; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that 2026 Reimbursable Services Advance Fund authority for the following departments be increased; Department of Public Works - Infrastructure ($4,000,000), Department of Administration ($2,710,000), Department of City Development ($1,100,000), and the Health Department ($500,000); and, be it

Further Resolved, That these increases are in addition to the appropriations detailed in Exhibit A, and by Common Council Resolution 250873; and, be it

Further Resolved, That such increases are hereby appropriated to the city departments and agencies listed in Exhibit A in the amounts specified and that such departments and agencies be, and hereby are, authorized to use amounts so appropriated for the purpose of incurring expenditures for materials or services furnished for which such city departments and agencies are to be reimbursed; and, be it

Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized and directed to establish the necessary accounts and accounting procedures to carry out the intent of this resolution; and, be it
