Analysis
This resolution directs the installation and construction of certain public improvements which have been determined to be nonassessable by the Commissioner of Public Works.
Body
Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee adopted preliminary resolutions determining it necessary and in the public interest to construct nonassessable improvements; and

Whereas, Plans, specifications and cost estimates have been prepared for the following described improvements:

2nd and 7th Aldermanic Districts

W. Capitol Dr. - N. 35th St. to N. 60th St. (ST320030201) (2025-05-71) File Number 050808: Colored concrete pavement, colored concrete sidewalk, (City Share Nonassessable $500,000 additional funds from Department of City Development account TD04280000) These funds are to be transferred to the construction account ST320030210) The total cost to date for this project is $5,115,000.

3rd Aldermanic District

N. Bartlett Ave. at E. Linnwood Ave. (ST211060175) File Number 051329: Install traffic circle. (Nonassessable Reconstruction Paving Fund -- $15,000) The total cost to date for this project is $15,000.

6th Aldermanic District

E. North Ave. - N. Bremen St. to N. Booth St. (ST320042901) (2445-05-71) File Number 050932: Concrete pavement reconstruction, replace all curb and gutter, sidewalk and driveway approaches, sodding, and grading, including various geometric changes. This includes the termination of E. Garfield Ave. pavement at the Kilbourn Park west border and elimination of the E. Garfield Ave. intersection at E. North Ave. (City Share Non-assessable Paving Fund -- $110,000 reallocated funds) File Number 050932, authorized $690,100 The total cost of the project is estimated to be $690,100.
