This resolution modifies the boundaries of private ambulance service areas 1 and 2, as originally established by Common Council resolution File Number 960106, adopted by the Common Council on May 14, 1996. The resolution makes no changes in the boundaries of private ambulance service areas 3, 4 and 5.
BODY:
Whereas, Common Council File Number 960106, adopted on May 14, 1996, established boundaries of the 5 private ambulance service areas in Milwaukee; and

Whereas, In the interest of maintaining equitable boundaries, it is appropriate to modify the boundaries for service areas 1 and 2; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that Common Council Resolution File Number 960106, adopted on May 14, 1996, is amended by deleting items 1 to 2 in the "Resolved" clause and inserting in lieu thereof the following:

1. Service Area #1 - Paratech Ambulance Service. East, North and West boundaries are city limits. South boundary: East along West Keefe Avenue, from city limit including West Keefe Avenue Parkway, East Keefe Avenue, and East Edgewood Avenue (exclusive) to North Martin L. King, Jr. Drive. North on North Martin L. King, Jr. Drive including North Green Bay Avenue to West Silver Spring Drive (inclusive). North along City Limit from West Silver Spring Drive to city limit north (inclusive).

2. Service Area #2 - Meda-Care Ambulance Service. East and West boundaries are city limits. North boundary: East along West Keefe Avenue from city limit including West Keefe Avenue Parkway, East Keefe Avenue, and East Edgewood Avenue (inclusive) to North Martin L. King Jr. Drive. North on North Martin L. King Jr. Drive including North Green Bay Avenue (exclusive) to West Silver Spring Drive.
