ANLS:
Adoption of this resolution authorizes an appropriation of $42,329.00 from the Common Council Contingent Fund to cover a shortage in the Library Board's Special Fund Account (01- 861-8010).
BODY:
Whereas, The shortage in the Library Board's Special Fund is due to greater than estimated circulation to City residents of suburban library materials; and
Whereas, The Library Board's Special Fund Account will be underfunded for 1997 without this appropriation; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the proper City officers be and hereby are authorized and directed to transfer $42,329.00 from the Common Council Contingent Fund (09-910-8000) to the Library Board's Special Fund Account (01-861-8010); and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Library report in writing to the Finance and Personnel Committee no later than October 14, 1997 regarding the amount of reciprocal borrowing transactions and costs to Milwaukee for the year October 1, 1996 through September 30, 1997, in a format established by the Committee.
