- Analysis -

Residential daytime parking permits issued for commuter impacted parking areas currently restrict the permit holder to parking within the single block specified on the permit. Current regulations also authorize anyone holding such a permit to park anywhere within the commuter impacted parking area where the permit holder resides. This ordinance clarifies that a residential daytime permit holder who resides in a commuter impacted parking area may park anywhere within that impacted parking area.
