Analysis
Consistent with common council file number 060762, passed on October 24, 2006, which established uniform renewal, duplicate and late fees for various licenses and permits, this ordinance increases the fees for:
1. A duplicate ice cream peddler license from $6 to $8.
2. The filing of a late renewal application for a food peddler permit from $20 to $25.
3. A duplicate food peddler permit from $6 to $8.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 60-31-4 and 5 of the code is amended to read:
60-31. Food Peddler Permits.
4. Permit renewals shall be filed July 1. There shall be an additional fee for the filing of a late renewal application in the amount of [[$20]] >>$25<<. If renewal applications are not sent out by June 15, the late penalty will be assessed 16 days after the applications have been sent.
5. The fee for a duplicate permit or identifying device is [[$6]]>>$8<<.
Part 2. Section 60-48-3 of the code is amended to read:
60-48. Ice Cream Peddler License.
3. The fee for a duplicate license is [[$6]]>>$8<<.
Part 3. This ordinance takes effect January 1, 2007.
