Substitute ordinance to change the name of West Fond du Lac Avenue, between North 107th Street and West Metro Boulevard, to West Metro Boulevard in the 15th Aldermanic District.

This ordinance changes the name of West Fond du Lac Avenue, between North 107th Street and West Metro Boulevard, to West Metro Boulevard. Changing the name of West Fond du Lac Avenue to West Metro Boulevard will reduce confusion in the area of the new West Metro Boulevard. The only owner affected by this change is the West Granville Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and their Church Council agrees with this name change.
BODY:
Whereas, The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Section 1. The name of West Fond du Lac Avenue, between North 107th Street and West Metro Boulevard, in the 15th Aldermanic District of the City of Milwaukee is hereby changed to West Metro Boulevard.
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
Section 4. This ordinance passed notwithstanding the provisions of Section 113-3 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances.
