Recommendation of renewal with a 10-day suspension of the Secondhand Motor Vehicle Dealer license of James Letizia for "Diamond Jim's Auto Sales" at 5848 S. 27th St. in the 13th Aldermanic District. (Committee vote: Ayes: 3, Noes: 0, Excused: 2) (no written exceptions have been filed)

The President questioned whether the members of the Common Council read the Report and Recommendations of the Utilities and Licenses Committee in the matter and any written exceptions?
Ayes: 15 - Ald. Davis, D'Amato, Bohl, Breier, Johnson-Odom, Gordon, Donovan, Richards, Wade, Dudzik, Sanchez, Witkowski, Nardelli, Murphy and Hines.
Excused: 1 - Ald. Pratt .
THE CHAIR asked whether the following applicants or their counsel were present and wished to address the Council.
Annette Sloan not present.
James Letizia appeared and addessed the Counsel.
ALD. BOHL moved that the Common Council do now resolve itself into a Committee of the Whole for the purpose of hearing from James Letizia and Assistant City Attorney Bruce Schrimpf relative to recommendation of renewal with a 10-day suspension for the Secondhand Motor Vehicle Dealer license.
PROCEEDINGS OF THE COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE
James Letizia and Assistant City Attorney Bruce Schrimpf appeared and addressed the committee.
The 10-day suspension stayed.

Frank Winston was present and addressed the Council relative to the foregoing matter.
ALD. WADE moved the the Committee do now rise.
ALD. SANCHEZ moved that the license for James Letizia for "Diamond Jim's Auto Sales " 5848 S. 27th Street be renewed without a suspension.
The motion failed by the following vote:
Ayes: 3 - Ald. D'Amato, Sanchez and Nardelli.
Noes: 12 - Ald. Davis, Bohl, Johnson-Odom, Gordon, Donovan, Richards, Wade, Dudzik, Witkowski, Breier, Murphy and Hines.
Excused: 1 - Ald. Pratt .
ALD. BOHL moved adoption of the foregoing Commitee Report.
Ayes: 15 - Ald. Davis, D'Amato, Bohl, Breier, Johnson-Odom, Gordon, Donovan, Richards, Wade, Dudzik, Sanchez, Witkowski, Nardelli, Murphy and Hines.
Excused: 1 - Ald. Pratt .
