This resolution authorizes the Milwaukee Police Department to accept contribution of a video printer from Financial Equipment Company.

BODY:

Whereas, Section 304-24 of the City of Milwaukee Code of Ordinances regulates the receipt, appropriation and expenditure of contributions received by the City; and

Whereas, The Police Department has received an offer of donation of a video camera from the Financial Equipment Company; and

Whereas, This contributed printer will be of benefit in the City of Milwaukee Police Department's efforts to apprehend criminals who have been filmed on videotape when committing crimes; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the City of Milwaukee Police Department is authorized to accept a donation of video equipment, in accordance with established City policies and procedures for acceptance of contributions.
