Resolution authorizing and directing the proper City officers to execute an out-of-program agreement between Opus North Corporation and the City of Milwaukee for construction of public improvements to support a phased office park development to be located generally north of I-94 and west on South 84th Street. ANLS:
- ANALYSIS - This resolution approves an out-of-program agreement between Opus North Corporation and the City of Milwaukee for public infrastructure related to the proposed Honey Creek Corporate Center development.
BODY:
Whereas, Opus North Corporation plans to construct an office park to be known as the Honey Creek Corporate Center on vacant lands located generally north of I-94 and west of South 84th Street; and
Whereas, This development will require various public improvements including sewer and water extensions as well as certain access improvements; and
Whereas, The Common Council has previously approved acceptance of developer funds for preliminary engineering; and
Whereas, Opus North Corporation now desires to enter into an out-of-program agreement with the City of Milwaukee to provide for construction of the required public improvements; and
Whereas, The out-of-program agreement for this project is attached to this file; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, That the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee hereby approves the out-of-program agreement attached to this file and authorizes and directs the proper City officers to execute said agreement; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Commissioner of Public Works is hereby authorized to make minor, non substantive changes to the agreement prior to its execution.
