Title

Resolution amending the listing price of the surplus, improved, tax-deed property at 1818-20 North 39th Street, in the 15th Aldermanic District.

Analysis

This resolution amends the listing price of said property.

Body

Whereas, Common Council File No. 050829, adopted on November 15, 2005, declared surplus and directed that the Department of City Development sell the improved property at 1818-20 North 39th Street via the open listing method with an asking price of $50,700; and

 

Whereas, A recent inspection of the property determined that the original listing price is too high given the property’s condition and, therefore, the Department of City Development recommends a reduction in the listing price to $9,300; now, therefore, be it

 

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the listing price reduction is approved and that the Department of City Development is directed to advertise said property via the open listing method as contemplated in Common Council File No. 050829.
