Substitute motion amending the Common Council Procedure and Rules relating to creating a standing committee on Community Development and Council Committee assignments.

This motion amends the Common Council Procedure and Rules by:

1. Creating a new standing Council Committee, Community Development Committee.

2. Reassigning matters relating to community development from the Zoning, Neighborhoods and Development Committee to the Community Development Committee.

BODY:

Part 1. Article V, Section 1, Subsections 1 to 7 of the Common Council Procedure and Rules is renumbered Subsections 2 to 8.

Part 2. Article V, Section 1, Subsection 1 of the Common Council Procedures and Rule is created to read:

Article V Committees

Section 1. Standing Committees

1. Community development: Community development.

Part 3. Article V, Section 1, Subsection 8 of the Common Council Procedure and Rules is amended by deleting "d". Community Development", and renumbering all paragraphs.
