This resolution requests that the City of Wauwatosa grant permission for a property in the City of Milwaukee to be permanently con-nected to a sanitary sewer and water main in said City; said property is currently connec-ted on a temporary basis to the City of Wauwa-tosa's sanitary sewer and water main.
BODY:
Whereas, On July 18, 1938, the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee adopted Resolution File Number 64609 granting permission to the owners of the property located at 2680 North 98th Street to be temporarily supplied with sewer and water facilities by the City of Wauwatosa, until such time as the City of Milwaukee constructed its own facilities in North 98th Street subject to the approval of the City of Wauwatosa; and
Whereas, The property at 2680 North 98th Street is located at the boundary line between the City of Milwaukee and the City of Wauwa-tosa; and
Whereas, On August 2, 1938, the Common Council of the City of Wauwatosa granted permission to the owners of the property located at 2680 North 98th Street to temporarily connect to the Wauwatosa sanitary sewer and water main in North 98th Street; and
Whereas, The owners of the property located at 2680 North 98th Street have been paying their sewer and water bills to the City of Wauwatosa since 1938; and
Whereas, The City of Milwaukee is proposing to construct sewer and water facilities in North 98th Street from 120'± south of West Center Street to West Center Street, said construc-tion is subject to approval at a public hear-ing and by the Common Council of the City of Milwauk...
