Substitute ordinance to further amend the 1998 rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service under control of the Common Council.
BODY:
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

Part 1. Section 2 of ordinance File Number 970830 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:

Under Salary Grade 006, delete the title "Lead Poisoning Program Manager."

Under Salary Grade 007, add the titles "Lead Poisoning Program Manager" and "Public Relations Manager."

Under Salary Grade 008, add the newly-created title "Building and Fleet Maintenance Manager."

Part 2. Section 8 of ordinance File Number 970830 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 1, 1997 - December 29, 1996):

Under Pay Range 540, in footnote "2/", delete the current biweekly rate of $1,352.01 and substitute the rate $1,389.19.

Part 3. Section 8 of ordinance File Number 970830 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby further amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 1, 1998 - December 28, 1997):

Under Pay Range 540, in footnote "2/", delete the current biweekly rate of $1,389.19 and substitute the rate $1,427.39.

Part 4. Section 23 of ordinance File Number 970830 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 11, 1998 - May 17, 1998):

Under Pay Range 926, delete the Title "Traffic Control Assistant."

Under Pay Range 927, add the title "Traffic Control Assistant" with the footnote designation "3/."

Part 5. Section 26 of ordinance File Number 970830 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 16, 1998 - July 26, 1998):
