Analysis
This resolution will permit the Redevelopment Authority to develop and establish a Redevelopment Plan in the vicinity of North 20th and West Lloyd Streets.
Body
Whereas, On November 17, 2005, the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Milwaukee (“Authority”) held a Public Hearing on the boundary for a proposed Redevelopment Plan in the Park West Area as required by Wisconsin Statutes; and
Whereas, Pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes and as a condition precedent to establishing a Redevelopment Plan, the Authority submits a Boundary Map and a Legal Description for the North 20th/West Lloyd Streets Redevelopment Area, copies of which are attached to this Common Council File; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the boundary for the North 20th/West Lloyd Streets Redevelopment Area is approved; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Authority is directed to prepare a Redevelopment Plan for the North 20th/West Lloyd Streets Redevelopment Area.
