Title

Resolution permitting a minor modification to the Detailed Planned Development (DPD) known as Metcalfe Park Center for the Lighthouse Gospel Church, located at 3512 West North Avenue, in the 17th Aldermanic District. (DCD)

Analysis

This resolution will allow for improvements to the exterior front facade of the church facility, including the addition of a fabric awning with signage.

Body

Whereas, Section 295-814(5) of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances permits variation to planned developments after approval of the Common Council; and

Whereas, The detailed plan for a planned development known as Metcalfe Park Center was approved by the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee on January 19, 1999, under File No. 990964; and

Whereas, The proposed exterior facade improvements are consistent with the spirit and intent of the approved plan and will not adversely affect surrounding development and a copy of which are attached to this Common Council File as Exhibit A which is on file in the office of the City Clerk and made a part as though fully set forth herein; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the minor modification to the approved plan permitting exterior facade improvements for the property located at 3512 West North Avenue is approved.
