This substitute resolution, by its adoption, imposes Interim Historic Designation on the George W. Peck Rowhouse, 1620-1628 North Farwell Avenue.
BODY:
Whereas, The Milwaukee Historic Preservation Ordinance, Section 308-81 of the Milwaukee Code, provides that Historic Sites, Structures and Districts may be designated as Interim Historic Structures; and
Whereas, The Historic Preservation Commission has adopted procedures for the purpose of making these recommendations; and
Whereas, The Historic Preservation Commission recommends that Interim Historic Designation be imposed on the George W. Peck Rowhouse, 1620-1628 North Farwell Avenue; and
Whereas, This structure possesses integrity of location, design, setting, materials, workmanship and association and fulfills the following criteria set forth in Section 308-81(2)(e):
e-3. Is identified with a person or persons who significantly contributed to the culture and development of the City of Milwaukee.

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the George W. Peck Rowhouse, 1620-1628 North Farwell Avenue, and further described as follows:
