Analysis
This resolution authorizes the sale of a vacant, City-owned lot.
Body
Whereas, Keun-Chul Lee and Jung-Sim Lee have submitted an Offer to Purchase the vacant, City-owned lot located at 3501-15 West Burleigh Street, Tax Key No. 308-0001-100-7, in the amount of $13,050 for new commercial construction and associated parking lot development; and

Whereas, Mr. and Ms. Lee currently own and operate a beauty supply store located at 3531 West Burleigh Street and wish to expand their business, but there is no room for expansion at their present location; and

Whereas, Mr. and Ms. Lee propose to build a new store and develop an associated parking lot; and

Whereas, The Department of City Development recommends acceptance of said Offer, with closing contingent upon the following:

1. Site and building plan approval by its planning division.

2. Receipt of evidence of financial commitment in place to complete the project as proposed.

3. Construction must be completed within 18 months from the date of the adoption of this resolution; and

Whereas, Said lot is being sold "as is" and the City of Milwaukee makes no representations or warranties regarding said lot including but not limited to soil and subsoil condition; and

Whereas, The City Plan Commission has approved the acceptance of said Offer, the sale of said lot to be consummated in the manner provided for in the sale of other City-owned lots pursuant to Section 304-49 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances; now, therefore, be it
