Whereas, the Plaintiffs, Victor R. Dalgord, Dennis J. Dalgord, and Raenita Hunt, have filed a lawsuit against the City of Milwaukee, by and through their attorney, arising from a motor vehicle accident involving a City vehicle on November 30, 2021; and

 

Whereas, the City Attorney recommends and the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee deems it expeditious and just to pay this claim: now, therefore, be it

 

Resolved, by the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the proper City officers be and hereby are authorized and directed to issue a City check in the amount of $30,000.00 payable to the order of Habush, Habush & Rottier, S.C. Client Trust Account, N14W23755 Stone Ridge Drive Suite 100, Waukesha, WI 53188 as soon as practicable; and so be it

 

Further Resolved, that in compliance with the City Attorney’s direction, the proper City officers be and hereby are authorized and directed to issue City checks as soon as practicable, in full and final settlement of all claims arising from the motor vehicle accident, to be charged as follows: to the Damages and Claim Fund Account No. 001-1490-S118-006300, and so be it.
