Body
Whereas, The applicant is moving a house onto an existing foundation; and
Whereas, The applicant has petitioned to construct and maintain front porch steps in the public right-of-way; and
Whereas, Said steps may only legally encroach into the public right-of-way by the granting of a special privilege resolution adopted by the Common Council; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that James Aryeetey, P.O. Box 240873, Milwaukee, WI 53224 is hereby granted the following special privilege:
To construct, keep and maintain front porch steps within the north, 20-foot wide sidewalk area of West Lloyd Street to be centered approximately 126 feet west of the westline of North 1st Street. Said steps are to project 4 feet 7 inches for a length of 4 feet.
Said above-mentioned steps shall be used, kept and maintained to the satisfaction of the Commissioners of Public Works and Department of Neighborhood Services. All necessary permits shall have been obtained prior to the granting of this special privilege.
Said steps shall be maintained or removed from the public right-of-way, at such future time as they are no longer needed, to the satisfaction of the Commissioners of Public Works and Department of Neighborhood Services.

Further Resolved, That this special privilege is granted only on condition that by acceptance of this special privilege the grantee, James Aryeetey, shall:
