Body
Whereas, the Department of Public Works uses the Reimbursable Services Advance Fund to expense both internal and external reimbursable services; and
Whereas, increased utilization of the Reimbursable Services Advance Fund by the Department of Public Works in 2025 requires additional reimbursable authority; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that $5,000,000 from the 2025 Reimbursable Services Advance Fund to the Department of Public Works; and, be it
Further Resolved, That this appropriation is in addition to the $19,400,000 appropriated to the Department of Public Works by Common Council Resolution 240785; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized and directed to establish the necessary accounts and accounting procedures to carry out the intent of this resolution; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the procedures for handling and advancing funds in anticipation of reimbursable revenue be in accordance with those set forth in Common Council File 80-1513.
