Analysis
This resolution authorizes engineering studies on projects which by City Charter are nonassessable. After design plans and estimates of costs have been prepared, a resolution authorizing construction will be submitted to the Common Council. The City cost for engineering these projects is estimated to be $1,105,000 with the total cost estimated to be $17,476,000.

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that it is necessary and in the public interest to do the following described improvements according to City specifications:

1st Aldermanic District

W. Congress St. - N. 17th St. to N. 18th St. (SM495090025): Sanitary sewer lining. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $15,000). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $67,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2010 construction season.

W. Cornell St. - N. 22nd St. to N. 23rd St. (SM495090036): Relaying sanitary sewer. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $15,000). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $67,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2009 construction season.

W. Eggert Pl. - N. 31st St. to N. Teutonia Ave. (SM495090027): Relaying sanitary sewer. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $15,000). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $90,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2009 construction season.
