This resolution authorizes the sale of a vacant, tax deed lot by the City of Milwaukee.
BODY:
Whereas, The adjoining owners, Loretta A. Henry and Lenore A. Robinson, with their properties located at 5119 and 5109 North 42nd Street, respectively, have offered to purchase 5115 North 42nd Street, Tax Roll Key No. 208-0115-5, containing 2,820 square feet each, for use as green space for the amount of $420 each; and
Whereas, Said lot is being sold in an "as is" condition; and
Whereas, The City Plan Commission has approved the acceptance of said Offers, the sale of said lot to be consummated in the manner provided for in the sale of other tax deed lots pursuant to Section 304-49 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that said Offers are accepted and that the proper City officials are authorized and directed to perform such acts as may be required to consummate the sale of said lot and that the proceeds be credited to the Reserve For Tax Deficit Fund Account No. 02-211-2700; and, be it
Further Resolved, That if either adjoining owner does not comply with the intent of this resolution, the entire lot may be sold to the owner in compliance.
