Substitute resolution declaring as surplus the vacant, tax deed lot located at 2805 North 30th Street and accepting an Offer to Purchase from Central Construction, Inc., for a proposed pre-release corrections facility, in the 7th Aldermanic District.

This substitute resolution authorizes the sale of a vacant, tax deed lot owned by the City of Milwaukee.
BODY:
Whereas, Central Construction, Inc., has offered to purchase the vacant, tax deed lot located at 2805 North 30th Street, Tax Roll Key No. 309-1147-0, from the City of Milwaukee containing 1,140 square feet for $570 to include said lot with all other properties optioned to them to assemble a site for construction of a pre-release corrections facility; and
Whereas, Sale is contingent upon:
1. Proof of ownership of all currently optioned adjoining properties.
2. Approval of proposed detailed planned development by the Planning Division of the Department of City Development; and
Whereas, This vacant, tax deed lot is being sold in an "as is" condition; and
Whereas, The City Plan Commission has approved the acceptance of said Offer, the sale of said lot to be consummated in the manner provided for in the sale of other tax deed lots pursuant to Section 304-49 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that said lot is declared surplus, said Offer is accepted, and the proper City officials are authorized and directed to perform such acts as may be required to consummate the sale of said lot and that the proceeds be credited to the Reserve For Tax Deficit Fund Account No. 02-211-2700.
