This resolution authorizes the sale of an improved, tax deed property owned by the City of Milwaukee.
BODY:
Whereas, Graceland Community Church has offered to purchase said property for $5,000 for the purpose of relocating their church, contingent on the following:

1. Acquisition of necessary financing.

2. Approval from the Board of Zoning Appeals for a special use exception to use the building as a church.

3. Approval from the Board of Standards to allow for the installation of gravel parking for the portion of the unpaved lot for a period of 3 years.

4. Complying with and obtaining all necessary zoning and building permits and certificates.

5. Graceland Community Church will pay for the assessment for the North 43rd Street improvements of 1999.

6. Graceland Community Church will assume the responsibility for the underground heating oil tank and removal of it; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that 6900 North 43rd Street, Tax Roll Key No. 123-9889-110-2, is declared surplus and that the Department of City Development is authorized and directed to sell said property and accept the unsolicited Offer to Purchase from Graceland Community Church at a price of $5,000; and, be it

Further Resolved, That the proper City officials are authorized and directed to perform such acts as may be required to consummate the sale of said property and that the proceeds be credited to the Reserve For Tax Deficit Fund Account No. 0001-334106; and, be it
