Substitute ordinance to further amend the 1998 offices and positions in the City Service under control of the Common Council.
BODY:
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

Part 1. Section 1 of ordinance File Number 970831 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:

Under "Health Department, Public Health Services Decision Unit, Immunization Action Plan Grant", delete one position of "Public Health Nurse (X)" and add one position of "Immunization Project Assistant (X) and amend footnote "(DD)" as follows: "To expire 12/31/98 unless the Immunization Action Plan Grant, available from the Wisconsin Department of Health and Social Services, is extended." and under "All Kids Count Grant", delete one position of "Immunization Project Assistant (X)", one position of "Office Assistant III", one position of "Customer Service Representative I" and one position of "Customer Service Representative I (.75 FTE)" and delete footnote "(NN)."

Part 2. Section 1 of ordinance File Number 970831 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby further amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 6, 1998 - March 8, 1998):

Under "Building Inspection, Condemnation Inspection", add the footnote designation "(X)" following two positions of "Building Construction Inspector II" and under "Plumbing Inspection", add the footnote designation "(X)" following two positions of "Sprinkler Construction Inspector II."

Part 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

Part 4. The provisions of Part 2 of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after Pay Period 6, 1998 (March 8, 1998).
