Resolution approving the report for public improvements on which Public Hearing requirements have been waived in North Cambridge Avenue in the 3rd Aldermanic District. (Infrastructure Services Division)
Analysis
This resolution confirms the report of the Commissioner of Public Works for improvements on which the benefited property owner has waived his right to a public hearing. The resolution authorizes the levying of special assessments and directs the installation and construction of said public improvements.
Body
Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee adopted a preliminary resolution determining it necessary and in the public interest to construct and levy special assessments for the following improvements:

N. Cambridge Ave. (East Side) – E. North Ave. to a point 120 feet m/l north of E. North Ave. (ST211020158) File Number 011484: Install curb and gutter, sodding, and grading. (Nonassessable Reconstruction Paving Fund -- $5,000; Assessable Reconstruction Paving Fund -- $1,000)

in the 3rd Aldermanic District of the City of Milwaukee; and

Whereas, The report of the Commissioner of Public Works has been filed with the City Clerk; and

Whereas, Waivers of notice and hearing of all abutting property owners have been filed; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the report of the Commissioner of Public Works be approved; and, be it

Further Resolved, That said Commissioner of Public Works is authorized and directed to proceed with said work in accordance with said report pursuant to Section 66.0703 and any other pertinent sections of the Wisconsin Statutes and in the manner directed by Section 115-42 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances; and, be it

Further Resolved, That the proper City departments take such action as is required of them to assess the abutting properties and collect such asses...
