Substitute resolution authorizing attendance at conventions and further authorizing appropriation and expenditure of Common Council Contingent Funds.
BODY:
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that attendance of the following person(s) at the following conventions is approved, and the funds specified are authorized to be allocated from the Contingent Fund, such travel and reimbursement shall be in accordance with the policy guidelines set forth in Section 350-181 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances:
1. Three Aldermen (CC-CC) "State of Black America: The New Millennium"; New York, New York; July 29 to August 2, 2000; $5,181.00; and be it
Further Resolved, That Common Council File No. 991696, adopted March 21, 2000, be amended by changing the number of Aldermen authorized under Item 1 from four to five; and, be it
Further Resolved, That Exhibit A, listed in Common Council File Number 991584, adopted February 8, 2000, be amended by striking under "Municipal Court" the words "NACM Mid-year Conference, Kansas City, MO, March 19 to March 22, $1,182.00, and in lieu thereof inserting the words "NACM 15th Annual Conference", Atlanta, GA, August 13 to August 18, $1,982.00." and by adding to the list "City Attorney's Office, City Attorney, 65th Annual Intl. Assn. of Muni. Attys. Conference, San Francisco, CA, August 27 to August 30, $1,723.00."
