Title
Substitute ordinance to further amend the 2004 offices and positions in the City Service under control of the Common Council (Fire Department and Health Department).
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

Part 1. Section 1 of ordinance File Number 030415 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 1, 2004, December 21, 2003):

Under "Fire Department, Supporting Services Decision Unit" delete one position of "Business Operations Manager" and add one position of "Business Finance Manager".

Under "Health Department, Administration Division" add footnote designation "(X)" to one position of "Staff Development Manager". Amend footnote "(HH)" as follows: "(HH) to expire 12/31/04 unless the Hepatitis B Immunization Grant is extended. 0.3 FTE Health Interpreter Aide funded by O&M".

Part 2. Section 1 of ordinance File Number 030415 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:

Under "Health Department, Maternal and Child Health Division, Early Child Care Grant" add one position of "Public Health Nurse (X)(QQ)" and delete one position of "Environmental Health Specialist (X)(QQ)". Amend footnote "(QQ)" to read as follows: "(QQ) to expire 8/31/04 unless the Early Child Care Grant is extended".

Part 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

Part 4. The provisions of Part 1, are deemed to be in force and effect from and after Pay Period 1, 2004, December 21, 2003.

Part 5. The provisions of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after the first day of the first pay period following passage and publication.

Part 6. This ordinance will take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
