Analysis
This resolution authorizes proper City officials to execute and grant a Temporary Construction Easement to the City of Greenfield required as part of Greenfield’s reconstruction of West Morgan Avenue from West Forest Home to South 43rd Street, partially in the City of Milwaukee, in the 11th Aldermanic District. The resolution also authorizes the proper City officials to execute a Lump Sum Agreement and an Audit Agreement for Payment for Lands or Interests in Lands Acquired from Public Utility.

Whereas, The City of Greenfield is planning to reconstruct a portion of West Morgan Avenue from West Forest Home Avenue to South 43rd Street; and

Whereas, Said reconstruction project encroaches into private lands partially encumbered by existing City of Milwaukee Storm Sewer Easements, which easements were recorded in the Milwaukee County Register of Deeds Office as Document Numbers 3814739 and 5021882; and

Whereas, Greenfield requests from the City of Milwaukee, and the City of Milwaukee is willing to grant, a Temporary Construction Easement to allow Greenfield to undertake construction work on lands containing the Storm Sewer Easement Areas on terms and conditions negotiated by the City’s Department of Public Works, as reflected in the Temporary Construction Easement, Audit Agreement and Lump Sum Agreement documents that have been made part of this file; now, therefore, be it
