This Substitute resolution amends Common Council File number 221131 relative to acceptance and funding of the 2023 WIC (Women, Infants, & Children) grant from the State of Wisconsin Department of Health Services The amendment increases funding by $484,974.
Body
Whereas, Common Council File Number 221131 authorized the Health Department to accept and fund the 2023 WIC (Women, Infants, & Children) grant from the Wisconsin Department of Health Services for the purpose of case management, education, and referral services to eligible and enrolled City residents; and,
Whereas, the Grantor Share of $1,390,512 is increased by $484,974, and the City share is increased by $0, and total cost is increased by $484,974; now, therefore, be it;
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Health Department shall accept this grant without further approval unless the terms of the grant change as indicated in Milwaukee Code of Ordinances Section 304-81-5c; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized to:
1. Amend the budgeted funds within the Project/Grant parent account of the 2023 Special Revenue-Grant and Aid Projects Fund, the following amounts for the project WIC (Women, Infants, & Children):
