Resolution permitting a minor modification to the Stage One Detailed Planned Development known as Milwaukee Metro Center (AutoNation USA), located on the North side of West Metro Boulevard, in the 15th Aldermanic District. (DCD)

This resolution will permit the relocation of a car wash facility approximately 150 feet and a reduction in the square footage of two buildings.
BODY:
Whereas, Section 295-814(5) of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances permits variations to planned developments after approval of the Common Council; and
Whereas, The detailed plan for AutoNation USA was approved by the Common Council on July 11, 1997, under File No. 961134; and
Whereas, The developer proposes to move the car wash facility 150 feet to connect it to the auto service building and to reduce the square footage of the showroom building from 72,186 square feet to 64,454 square feet and the service building from 29,000 square feet to 24,570 square feet; and
Whereas, The proposed changes are consistent with the spirit and intent of the approved plans and would not adversely affect surrounding development; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the minor modification to the approved plan permitting the relocation of the car wash facility and the reduction in square footage of the showroom building and the service building is approved.
