Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee approved the 2003 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) award to the Department of Public Works in the amount of $330,299 for Recreational Facilities on October 15, 2002; and
 
Whereas, The Department of Public Works has indicated that they will need the amount of $130,299 for recreational facilities projects for the 2003 CDBG funding years; and
 
Whereas, The Department of Public Works intends to use the amount of $200,000 for the Compass Program; and
 
Whereas, The Community Development Committee has agreed to change the activity and the distribution of the 2003 CDBG award; now therefore, be it
 
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the change in distribution and activity for DPW 2003 CDBG funding is approved.
